Dear Pumpkin!!! :)
Since you are turning 35 today I thought I will spend some time and share a few of my precious memories with you to make you feel a little more comfortable in coping with your aging problem!!
So now....... Brace yourself n Get ready for the torture.. this is gonna be looooong :P and you will not be spared because its your birthday.. With you i can just go yak yak yak :D so here is the sample :P Did you think you are the only one with such powers :P huh!! See for thyself what cometh your way :P
So well, here is how it starts... I remember it was on my birth day 3 years ago that God decided to strike me with his celestial weapon that can never stop talking :P never ever that is :P.. yes thats when you called me for
the first time... though we had read each other before and had a couple of chats if am not wrong but thats the very first time when you called me.... and went on yak yak yak.... as if you knew me for ages...
Years have flown by .. but this is something which hasn't changed... the way you start with "hellooos!!" .Thats something which i hve always adored.. the kind of livelyness and fun you are, when cast such spells on people with your greeting... well who can resist your dramas then :P .. i believe i have seen and known you so well (at-least i think so :P) for which even you need an acceptance :P
... dare i talk about those here :P what i meant to say is I have seen all sorts of YOU... your mood-swings.. your nagging... your dramebaazi... your complaining... cribbing and also your moments of concern and anxiety.. or moments when you asked if things will be fine.. moments that just dont blur even when the time has been flown by like seconds .. also at times when everything seemed so fragile you seemed to be there with all your might in listening to the story and not commenting on it. :)
there are memories.. a lot of em.. some were fortunately captured .. some were not....... a few of those captured are here for you :)
about how it started face to face.. well i cant forget that one :D i reached this place sarai kale khaan and almost travelled to ever cornery of the bus stand and all the gates looking for you.. yahan wahan :P this is first when I realized about your super sense of directions :P that very moment i decided i will stop pestering you for any directions ever :P
Like this one i remember was in 2008 i guess when I was visiting you in bangalore.. you had arranged for a room for me... and then when we met.. if i can recall correctly you stayed somewhere nearby .. you landed up and we went to some mall .. got some scented candles and headed off to a place where you and meanie often met... some cafe it was .. dont remember the
name exactly... towards the end of the day we decided to go the metro mall and have a nice dinner :D a nice buffet it was... and was really really nice to see you two girls eat!! with the "shut ups" i gifted you... hope you still have him with you.. do you?
next morning when you came to drop me off to the airport .. i could see you so damn tired with unfinished sleep.. that i finally decided to excuse you of your guest duties :P .. "See you dont need to come the airport" - I said. "Its okay!!". And that very instant started giggling, smiling ... Nalayak!!! :P tabhi se tumhara naam pada nalayak!! :)
The next time i visited bangalore... as usual you were late :P i remember we went to this dhaaba type place for dinner. You got me this book there umm kya naam tha.. the lost symbol :P my birth day gift :P jo ki tumhe parhna tha :P fir tum mujhe woh nahi dene wali thi because woh boring thi :P and i was surprised when you again gave it to me :P i can relate why it was called "The lost symbol"
Tumhaare kisse hazaar hain.. remember this "tafri bhara din" :D was fun na!! the breakfast was really awesome :) dont you remember.. and the taramandal show, the modern art gallery and the book meet that followed :D and we also went for that nature's mela with Ritu and Gunjan na.. Remember? I was so searching for those pics we took. couldn't find it.
and the recent ones include the DDC jams!! :) You loved it.. Didnt you :D
Countless countless memories we have.... About your dramebaazi :P every moment spent with you is such a nice time that we had... be it me visiting your hometown... or you visiting my place... every story is just so special!! and has so many twists :P You are Fun!!! Such events make life so happy and meaningful... and finally fuel up so many conversations!! :)
I wrote you a song once :P remember.. and i also sang it for you while on my walk back home.. :P hehehe :D Crazy things we have done!! And am open for crazier things to come :) Stay there pumpkin!! :) and keep smiling!! You re a friend i cherish :) and i know it is likewise for you :)
